Kelly McGillis Classic #32, held each year in Key West, Florida, sanctioned by the International Women Flag Football Association, hosted teams and players this year from: Morocco, Afghanistan, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador and teams across the U.S.A.
Divisions for: Women Highly Competitive, Women Lower Division, Young Ladies (ages 16 - 17), Juniors (ages 12 - 15) and Girls (ages 8 - 11yr).
The event lasts a week and is filled with flag football clinics, training to become a certified IWFFA flag football Official, Kelly's Player Parade, Women Speaker series, Crazy fun socials like: Toilet Relay Race, Save the Drunkn Sailor and more. The events are to bring women's teams around the world together, to have fun, make friends and play great flag football. Kelly McGillis, Terri White and Najia Fayez were our Grand Marshals for the parade. Najia was one of the 73 Afghan women & their families whom IWFFA-ALDEA-Greenberg-Traurig got asylum in Mexico after the Taliban took over Afghanistan. The Kelly McGillisClassic is a great event.
