Between her, Kim Deal, and Kim Gordon, Sean is definitely the best musician. (Nothing against the other Riot Grrl band members that I haven't listed) I still prefer Kim Deal as a songwriter and vocalist though. As far as the "Women in Rock" category goes she (Sean) is underrated. I've not really listened to Lacuna Coil so I can't comment there.

I remember Rob saying he wondered why everyone in the band was making the same amount of money as him. Something along the lines of “I made $1m, and so did everyone else. I’m like, why aren’t I getting paid more?” Just look at the drummer fucking slamming and beating his dick off, Sean slapping the tits off that bass, Jay shredding. Rob over there, dying 10 minutes in. That’s why Rob.

If he actually said that, and I'm not saying he didn't, he's a real pos. Sean and J wrote some absolutely badass riffs/jams. The signs of the directional differences were apparent on Astrocreep. An absolute badass album, but the more industrial sound Rob was pushing is apparent. Really sucks.

I wasn't into grunge either but there were tons of great metal bands that got me through the 90s. I look back very fondly on 90s metal/hardcore. It was a more diverse era for heavy music than the 80s. I was into White Zombie, Fear Factory, Slayer, Biohazard, Cathedral, Obituary, Carcass, Entombed, Rollins Band, Sick of it All, Sepultura, Agnostic Front, Pro-Pain, Machinehead, Madball, Motorhead(never stopped!), and to a lesser extent Pantera. I wouldn't exactly call myself a metal head but J is my favorite metal guitarist. He used to have a column in either Guitar World or Guitar School magazine. I wish I would have read every word and taken them to heart. What a sound that guys has got. I agree with what you said 100%.

I like how Rob likes to pretend he was the entire reason that White Zombie was any good, when you can clearly see him being the weakest link in the chain during live performances like this. It's no wonder he ended up going solo with that kind of ego.

I don't know either (Band/solo) well enough to argue here, but I've seen Rob solo on a co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson and he and his solo band kicked Manson's ass, so I personally give him the benefit of the doubt... He does look like a mix between Eric Sardinas and Vinnie Paul from Pantera here, though...

No matter how much I love Sleeping Corpses and It Came From New York box sets, there are still many live performances unreleased songs and demos lurking on KZfaq that they should put out a rarity box set with a few CDs and DVDs. I'd love see this performance remastered and also many songs (Platinum Bomb, Star Slammer, Godslayer, Say You Love Satan etc...)
