Hadith "حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ صُمْ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ‏.‏ فَمَا زَالَ حَتَّى قَالَ ‏"‏ صُمْ يَوْمًا وَأَفْطِرْ يَوْمًا ‏"‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ اقْرَإِ الْقُرْآنَ فِي شَهْرٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ‏.‏ فَمَا زَالَ حَتَّى قَالَ فِي ثَلاَثٍ‏.‏" Narrated Mujahid from `Abdullah bin `Amr: The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to `Abdullah), "Fast three days a month." `Abdullah said, (to the Prophet) "I am able to fast more than that." They kept on arguing on this matter till the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Fast on alternate days, and recite the whole Qur'an once a month." `Abdullah said, "I can recite more (in a month)," and the argument went on till the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Recite the Qur'an once each three days." (i.e. you must not recite the whole Qur'an in less than three days). Sahih al-Bukhari, 1978... How can we recite whole quran in less than 3 days? Plz justify shykh...

This suggestion was difficult for them so they said, "Who among us has the power to do so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" Allah Apostle replied: " Allah (the) One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need.' (Surat Al-Ikhlas 112.1--to the End) is equal to one third of the Qur'an." 'Amr (Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: Recite the whole of the Qur'An during every month. I said: I find power (to recite it) in a shorter period. He said: Then recite it in twenty nights. I said: I find power (to recite it in a shorter period even than this), whereupon he said: Then recite it in seven (nights) and do not exceed beyond it. @4:30 Even Salaf used to do other business to run their households. But unfortunately nowadays, especially in Kashmir, DEEN has been made a full fledged business. I remember once an AALIM was given 3000 rupees on Khutbah. And he rebuked the family in such a way that they were forced to add 4000 rupees more. To make it a total of ₹7000. And I am talking about someone who is associated with Jamiat. Not some Barelvi etc. For heaven's sake don't make DEEN a full fledged business.
