Spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant travels to Chicago to help 28-year-old crystal meth addict, Shannon, who is in denial about the full extent and destructive power of his addiction. Shannon's drug abuse has led to three overdoses, high-risk sex and threatens his life, unless he can accept the gravity of the situation and get help. Iyanla also works with Shannon's mother, father and sister who are concerned about their son and brother, but in many ways have enabled his downward spiral by supporting him financially while he hit rock bottom. Before Shannon can get himself back on track, Iyanla must get him to come clean with himself and his family about the full extent of his addiction. Only after this happens, can the mistrust and lies stop and the healing begin. Iyanla shows Shannon a path to brighter future, but ultimately it us up to him whether or not he can win the battle over his addiction. (Original Air Date: 8 NOVEMBER 2013). Wasting her time and energy not today boo-boo. I would think before you call her and she agrees to a sit down, you are at rock bottom…otherwise why seek her out.

Sometimes when you live in an unbelievable delusional world, you feel you have no fault but the first step to healing is admitting there is something to repair fix or be healed. I truly enjoyed Mrs Iyanla knowledge and informative ways to help people
