Every player has a character they simply don't connect with. There's currently 125 of them, it's not uncommon. My personal hunter bane is Ah Muzen Cab, i can't play him well. There's also many factors to think about why you get "murdered". Who were you up against? Who were you playing? Was your team helpful? Did you play your role well? Did others play their roles well? Do you land your basic attacks? All of this to say: Don't worry about it. This is the kind of game where practice will get you far. Take those losses and try to read why the enemy Izanami murders you and everything else.

@@NotMyCabbages7 Yeah, but it's kind of a blow coming in from YEARS of playing Dota 2 and being able to play literally every character of that game's even larger roster with at least a passing level of competence, if not excellency, only to wind up struggling to handle one of the first Hunters Smite handed me. I mean I understand why I suck playing as Izanami, because I'm absolutely terrible with glass cannon carries and I'm more or less being forced to fill that role in solo queue when I'm more comfortable with Guardians and Warriors and still learning basic laning etiquette(and dealing with the shits in the lower brackets who get banned every other Tuesday), but it's still rather baffling to me how she goes from being absolute dead weight in my hands to suddenly living up to the title of 'Goddess of Death' in someone else's hands. I think the only other thing that's baffled me quite like that is how frightening Aphrodite can be. I mean I know she used to be a war goddess before she settled down in Greece, but Christ...

😆 Yeah it's a reasonable feeling. Very recently there has been a huge Healing shift/patch. Aphrodite got quite a giant buff if you want my honest opinion. But for the rest like i mentioned Smite has layers upon layers of complex factors that help you win or lose. My guides are only 1 single aspect of these, mechanical prowess of the specific character. It doesn't include Item builds, Role tactics, map positioning. I can go on and on. I can recommend Zapman for carry/ADC pro level and meta related information if you want to dive even deeper.
