even on my crappy laptop speakers the difference between 7 and 30 ips is huge. Will you be looking at the Spectral Shaper next?

7 on loud piano in my song was so distorted kinda interesting

It is pretty easy to distort with these plugins, but that may be just what you are after.

I noticed that most of the mastering plugin demos are redlining the meters. Would you turn them down to avoid them going above 0 db if you actually used these plugin in the master chain?

Thank you for the feedback. I will try to prevent that going forward. The way DAWs and plugins work now most of the time it doesn't actually have any impact and only matters that the main output of the DAW is not redlining. There are exceptions with analog emulating plugins. It is good practice to not redline so I will try better to make sure I follow that going forward.

Thanks for the information... please tell me how did you color the markers in cubase?

I use Cycle Markers instead of standard markers. Once you click on the cycle marker of choice you can then use the color button on the top tool bar to change the color of the cycle marker.
