Vocalsynth 2 from ‪@iZotopeOfficial‬ is one of my favorite vocoder plugins out there. But when I opened up VocalSynth Pro for the first time, I had a lot of questions. In this video, I share how I would start using this plugin if I were starting all over.

Thanks so much! I got this a while back but have been kinda overwhelmed by it and never got anything I liked. But you showed several windows I'd never seen so gonna go play with it now! Btw, in BW you don't need to route the sidechain track out to the track with VS on it, you can grab a sidechain from anywhere (even a device in the middle of a chain!).

Oh good! Im so happy that this video can offer you some direction. And that's awesome that you also use BW. It's such an underrated DAW. I believe I tried what you suggested, and it worked too! however if I remember correctly, I could still hear the audio on the sidechain track. I didn't want that for this video, so that's why I routed it that way. Thanks for pointing that out though! I'll be releasing another VocalSynth video in the next month to offer some more tips. Hope you can check that out!

Thanks man! So far only used it in auto mode and was satisfied but need to dive into midi and sidechain mode in the future!

So, I dont have those options in the ui ? like the "midi mode" option just doesnt exist , what am i missing v.v

Oh no! Try looking first for a button that says on "Auto Mode" on the main UI. It should be top center. After you click that you can then choose between Auto, MIDI, and Sidechain. Hope that helps!
