I feel like I have to explain this for the people who don’t understand. Creator pls correct me if this is wrong, but I believe the reason why Micheal acts ‘Soft’ is because of something that happened to his mentality in the creator’s au, which resorted his mental state to that of a 3 year old. Probably trauma, since trauma can do that to people. They aren’t making Micheal soft, it’s just their au.

So age regression Its only in the mentality that michael's age is Regressed so he ACTS like a 3 year old child reacting to certain things that 3 year old would but they would only slip up and they need an family member or certain acquaintance to take care of them when they slip up or act like a 3 year old and also he may be acting like a 3 year old is because of something that traumatised him to the bone that when chris/cc died he had hallucinations that they would haunt/scare/ laugh at him since the first time that he suffered from an traumatic memory is when izuku died and second is elizabeth, the third is chris/cc, fourth is mrs. Afton then william And noah/ennard is the one that helps him calm down
