168th street has been my home station for 23 years and I'm glad you came by to 168th and yes I watch your videos all the time even when I'm on my break when I'm not being called in to do runs on the subway system.

Then hang out in Greenport (There is a park nearby Walk past Oak street then follow path at 3 way split go up then go to the right and there should be the park)

That A was on the local track because it went via the F from Jay to West 4. The connection is ONLY on the 6 and 8 Avenue local tracks. As for 34 Street Penn Station and IRT Atlantic Avenue, remember those stations are either over 100 years old or close to it. That platform design was probably practical for those times, plus there is a cross platform xfer a station away.
