This is so legendary. I still remember Jaws doing it 4 years ago. That was the most anticipated skateboarding trick at the time. Seeing Aurelien go at it so casually with just 1 filmer is mad.

Ce que je kiffe avec ce gars, c’est qu’il ramène les sports extrêmes aux vrais sens. Pas de tralala de montage, le mec viens avec deux potes tranquillou, sans gros matos pour filmer ni board en plus ni fioriture de merde que trop de gens de sports extrême on rajouté avec les années. Ta l’impression que tout est compliqué avec certain et avec lui c’est juste un Ollie et une paire de baloche énorme. Vrai gars.

Le skateboard c'est pas un sport extrême hein, c'est stylé etc mais c'est pas un sport extrême, un sport extrême c'est un sport où le risque de mort es TRÈS élevé, le skate, même si il y a eut quelques morts, le risque es faible, tu peu chuté et te faire très mal, mais le risque de mort es faible, viens faire un tour avec moi en vélo de descente que tu voit ce qu'est du sport extrême

It's actually not a popular spot. I would guess security rarely has to deal with this. Only three skaters have ever attempted it, along with a handful of BMX and parkour guys. Compare this to spots in SoCal that are heavily sessioned every day.

Wow, this is a historic moment Even though he didn't roll away in the end. These were the most confident ollies this stair-set has ever seen. Kinda symbolic that the first attempt where he throws the board away is where it ends. I guess noone ever came away from the Lyon without an injury. Even the parkour-guy who frontflipped it broke a bone and ended up in a cast.

Palido Fantasmo Of course. Jaws did land it, but he struggled so much - understandably so. The jump is so huge that it's hard to keep the board under you and by the time you land, you lose so much horizontal speed and gain so much vertical speed that it's a serious smash against the ground. But aurelian's jumps look as if it's a standard 10-stair gap. It's very controlled and you can almost call his landings soft. It's remarkable.

@@everdimension true, and jaws meloned it. An Ollie would be much harder. But still, this man needs to land it before he can be up there with jaws. No doubt this is amazing though. I'm sure he'll get it.

Ali turned his board in the air each try. But this guy keeps his board completely straight. ALSO jaws did a melon over it instead of an ollie. This would be the first landed ollie in the history of the Lyon 25. I hope he comes back.

Putain !!! Tu étais vraiment pas loin de le mettre. Sur ton dernier essai tu t'es fais mal de la même façon que Ali lors de sa dernière tentative. Jaws l'a mis avec un grab, si toi tu le mets en ollie simple c'est vraiment énorme. Si tu réessayes faites en sorte de filmer ça autrement qu'avec vos téléphones, ça mérite d'être bien immortalisé.
