@spanner7576 Nah say what you will about J Cole but he's never been like Kanye. The most you can say about him is that he's had some iffy lyrics. Even before Kanye became what he is today, he had moments like when he blew up on Sway and when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the VMAs. This video is about him apologizing for dropping a diss track. Kanye's ego would not let him do that.

The best thing is nobody's talking about Kanye West. And everybody's talking about one part of one song on a hold this album against Drake that is actually Metro boomin and future against Drake. Think about that Kendrick Lamar has caused so many problems with a verse. In a battle that was never even his. And nobody's talking about Kanye. It just truly shows you how the tides can easily flip in this business. And I truly believe Kendrick knew this was going to happen. This was to get hip hop back to where it was supposed to be on top. And to make everybody money. The main issue is Drake is too stuck in his own lane to even try to do regular rap battles and beef. j Cole is to stoic.

My issue is this isn’t the first time he has done something like this. When he dropped 1985 and dissed Lil Pump and all the other mumble rappers a few years ago a couple weeks later he decides to have a filmed conversation with him and wanted to make it seem like him and Pump were cool. It’s just corny to me. You don’t get to let off steam and say your piece and then immediately get a camera in front of your face (or in this case speak on it at a festival) and try to be the peacemaker. Get the shit off your chest and if you wanna exchange some kind of apology turn it into a phone call. Not some bullshit ass 5 minute intermission at a show just to create a few clicks and turn it into a viral moment.

It started out as kendrick just saying he was the best. It wasn't a diss at them but it did reference them to make the big me line. J coles diss wasn't bad, it was actually good. But he shouldn't have apologized, even though I understand why he did apologize, he didn't need to. He should have known that the people would eat the apology up.

@@jshadow7803 Kendrick directly names drake's album "For all the dogs" does the whole K9, Pet Cemetery scheme as a direct shot at the album. "f*ck sneak dissing, *first person shooter*, I hope they came with 3 switches" and then obviously says there is no big 3, it's just big him which was a direct response to J.Cole's line in the song *first person shooter* "Big 3 like we started the league" Kendrick's entire verse was a diss, not just a couple lines and you talk like you didn't even listen to it

What's funny is that the Cole fan Tiktok criticizing Kendrick can literally be reversed to Cole on a harder level. That's why its hard for Kendrick to be dissed by Cole. Drake might find some way but his history and insecurities is so much potential even after Push did Story of Adidon.

It’s safer to say that because some music people can become fanatical. At some point, it becomes more drama than music. For example, when a band brings in someone new in place of a beloved member, the fans will keep seething about it for decades.

As a hasanabi head and a J cole fan this is so frustrating. I've defended Hasan online from destiny fans who never hear him out and just accept what Destiny says about him. And now Hasan who couldnt name 5 songs from J Cole or Kendrick combine is on here just accepting whatever fantanto says as the law instead of hearing him out.
