@@Eddsucks Wdym I don't know that? There are multiple ways of enhancing transients in drum sounds. As in how dilla did it, well yeah no one but him knows exactly what he did, but we can guess.

@@eagleflies8681 precisely, but to so confidently assert those things would be flat out wrong, layering for sure I know this for a fact (believe me) but on the other things you can’t expect to someone with such an alien approach to use those methods. He likely used techniques we gotta wait a while to crack

@@Eddsucks He likely used techniques that were available at the time he was making beats. We know he used hardware, so we might start from there. It's not that we have to trust you to know there's layering present in dillas work, we have our own ears and sources already. It is also no witchcraft, there are multiple ways of getting the same sound if you know how.
