ನಾನು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಈ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದೋಸೆ ತಿಂದು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಮೂರು ದಿನದ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೋಸೆ ತಿನ್ನಲು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ, ಅದರೆ ಈಗ ರುಚಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟಾಗಿದೆ.

With all due respect, this is iconic hotel. They do not treat customers well most of the times, taste has changed. We need to go to Vidhyarthi Bhavan just for experience couple of times a year. If we take parcel and if dose cools down it will difficult to eat it. I am sure many might have experienced it. We have good quality dose joints nearby.

Yes I agree…. It’s not like earlier. They are more arrogant now. They prefer online orders and give last preference to eating there. They know that anyway people can wait there. We have better options now. In my opinion it’s just hyped with such videos.

This VB place is NOT Vidyarthi friendly anymore. The owners are arrogant, food is not any better than hundreds of street food places, service is totally disrespectful and indifferent. (dosay I got was horrible, blackened on the outside, raw hittu with cooold palya on the inside. The manager was too busy collecting money to listen to me or offer a proper dosay!). Yes I agree mistakes happen, but I would not be writing here if they had accepted it and simply offered to correct it. Some of my friends share my sentiments. Definitely not worth the wait/money. Just walk around to find 10+ places for better food at less cost, And no wait.

Sumne waste Illi visit maadodu.. antha taste illa… tindre at least half an hour aadru naalige mele ruchi irbeku.. nothing sort of that type.. they r simply creating hype ,. I was a student of National. high school. 1958 to 61. we use to go to vidyarthy bhavan . we were treated well.We were allowed near the place whare dosa are prepared.so cordial. even served half dosa.The plates were Brass. coated.gave sour taste. The chutney was same.poured to plate.They were putting butter before closing of dosa. the butter melted and with pallya gave a taste.thats. why they gave small piece of paper to wipe hand. few years back . I went to hotel. all the same. good luck.
