It’s really like that with Hus tho, not even gassing. I remember the morning I heard “Hustling and stacking” for the first time. I wheeled the track as soon as he said “ hustla baby” literally the first two words . It blew my mind how somebody could be so effortlessly be SO wavey. You can’t copy that type of X factor.

What I love about Jhus is he's music is indeed anonymous ✨ He's his own competition... you can't compare his style to anyone else... he's an inspiration to anyone else singing Grim out there ...like Lippy said..you have Michael Jackson and then you have Jhus....yess you gonna have other artists out here rocking grim music but there ain't gonna be another Hus..and the idea that he's album especially the Big Conspiracy album...gets people to debate and meditate on it just means something..... Tricky is right, Hus is quite basic from a technical point of view. He's more like a poet. The rhyme schemes and word play isn't crazy and never will be, but the use of language and the way he paints pictures is pure artistry. Tupac had similar skill.
