Read it all and loved it! I literally couldn’t put it down and even though it was 1000 pages, I managed to read it in just two days. She’s an unmatched storyteller and a superb plotter and suspense builder. The tension between the two main characters is palpable and I can’t wait for the next book because as much as I am looking forward to the new mystery, I can’t wait to see how the relationship between Cormoran and Robin develops. Thank you, Queen! ♥️

Same! I finished it in two days, now planning for a reread! I love the pacing but it got weird with the chatbox. And I got it all wrong with the killer lol. With regards of their partnership I know in my heart that it will not be this book because Strike should finally resolve his love with Charlotte which happened with this one. I’m relieved because it’s dragging for too long. Strike and Robin needed to start with clean slates. I literally can’t wait for the next book! Hopefully it will not take so long.

@@karinhoo4333 that's great for you, I'm glad you also have real friends. Your JK Rowling books made me have a tough time in my life, because they create discriminatory narratives about trans people as predators which have directly lead to more attacks/murders of trans people. You certainly don't have any trans friends, if you do ask them what they think about your saviour JK Rowling. For real, ask them, make sure you don't pressure them. Judging by your name alone, you might understand what it is like for the media to focus on your identity in a negative way, maybe you've even seen the results in discriminatory behaviour from your community. This is what JK Rowling makes money off of now, doing this to trans people. Her books didn't save you. You deciding to read something and taking matters into your own hands with the help and support of real people is what did it. Don't give a bigot your power. Agatha Christi and Ursula La Guin respectively created far more interesting detective and fantasy/sci-fi worlds. The good news is that anything that was good in Rowlings work was appropriated from other writers. You can still have your amazing stories without supporting a bigot. Plenty of artists in the world.

Lord is the author of universe, we all said this word without knowing. Literature is the flow of universal concious, it is critical to understand the world same as understand wisdom behind multilayers of human mind. Harry potter is the life memory to every reader. The essense of whole potter world in a single word. Harry is our heartbeat. This word from his friend after they misheard that harry was died. The dilougues around resurrection stone, his parents Sirius etc death is little sleapy like, dumbledore precognic vision before killing voldmort, above who living are suffering like dilogues, movie climax terrifies even wizard world, it is hard to leave memories of harry. May be in books or in real life we have to leave something beyond to understand with mind. That question is forever riddle even to god.

So why the heck did Rowling's jump into commenting on issues that she clearly did not understand. The plot of he book appears to mirror her experience of taking heat and losing fans for expressing transphobic views in recent years. I am 61 years old and it's not as though I was raised with concepts about non binary gender. Then again, I have embraced the fact that I am an old man and that I need the younger generations to teach me.

You sound like a great guy, it's reassuring to hear that older generations can still be open-minded. Ignore the echo chamber of JKR supporters that can't understand the concept of a life lived differently from their own... it's frustrating, but useless to argue with them. We can only hope that they have brains sent down to them - or stones, so long as they hit the mark.

@@__Oscar So open minded that your brains fell out. And how can you say that people can’t understand the concept of a life lived differently without seeing the irony in it. Y’all too clearly can’t understand that same concept of a life lived differently, so you look to publicly shame and demonize those that don’t agree with your views. A classic fascist tactic to get people to submit to their own preferred ideology. I mean, I’ve never seen JK using those same tactics, but instead only defending her own beliefs. Which by the way are a set of beliefs based in actual reality, whereas those that look to attack her are basing their beliefs on pure fantasy.

Well, ultimatetly, like so many historical villians, perhaps she can serve as an infamous identity for future youth to rally against. I imagine a time when her legacy will consist of academic courses in gender studies which deconstruct long-forgotten fiction writers who created violent hateful spectacles in their time. A course like "the two faces of JK Rowling; contemporary no-wave vs 2nd-wave feminist readings on identity". I mean going back through potter, you can kinda see she loves the enforced heteronormativity.
