J never seems to amaze me. I saw them on this tour in Hollywood, CA when Mike opened with his Madonna cover band. He dressed up in a big mouse suit and played bass. That was crazy.

Can Mike Watt actually play bass? In other live videos his volume is too low to hear him, not here I'm afraid. (actually I can excuse him, he's a left handed person playing right handed, look at his watch)

Mike Watt's bass playing on this video is the audio equivalent of putting cat shit on a hot hibachi. Insanely out of tune and the stuff he's "going for" doesn't jibe with the Mascis vibe. Ugh, no thanks.
