Gaso, do you use heated grips? I have Oxford heated grips on mine but the Kawasaki ones, though far more expensive, are also better integrated in the switch gear to look like it came from the factory.

Yes, I use Kawasaki heated grips. It's good warm. It set control circuit under pipe, nobody will notice it at all. I really like it.

Hi,a question for you: I saw you clutch in and at the mean time rev up the throttle, was you doing downshift or something else? If possible could you please let me know? Thanks much.😊
@gasoline-gaso4 жыл бұрын
Hi Yes, I did shift down when clutch in and rev up. W800 street has slipper assist clutch, it is possible down shift without strongly clutch in.

@@gasoline-gaso Cool. How was the highway performance? Cause I haven't seen this part quite yet. For living in Canada, the highway commute is way too essential. Is this big toy easily handle 110-120km/h without too much headwind/shaking and buzzing? Thanks a lot👍.
@gasoline-gaso4 жыл бұрын
@@questionmark2968 Yes. It is smooth about 110-120km/h. But riding position is upright, too heavy headwind. I am tired from riding highway about 2-3 hours. If you use highw way many time, I recommend to W800 Cafe model.

@@questionmark2968 Hi, I ride in the Canadian Rockies and foothills on my W800 Street. There is plenty of smooth power on tap for passing traffic or for any situation. The bike loves the range of speed you are asking about. There is a tiny bit of vibration until about the 4500km mark then it smooths right out. It is never bothersome and makes the bike feel you are riding a motorcycle not a sewing machine. Like Gaso, I can't stay off mine! I have tried different size windshields and currently have a Puig shield made for the W800. It lessens the blast at my torso but still creates some on my face at speed. The truth is, the bike seems to cut through the air the most cleanly with no windshield or fly screen but that makes it colder for spring riding. I agree with Gaso, at 2 or 3 hours I take a butt break then am ready for more. It's very smooth on the highway with a light clutch pull in stop and go traffic in the city and easy to do tight U-Turns.
