Part 2 of a 3 part video...We are riding in the cab of J. Neils Lumber Co. Shay 5, built by Lima in 1929, we are headed westbound on the Illinois Railway Museum's mainline with engineer Conn McCarthy at the throttle which is who made this video possible. The fireman for this trip was Eric Hoyem. Included is some guest whistle action that came off of a Chinese 2-10-2. Video shot during the afternoon of July 7, 2024.
