2:42 Pay attention to the flute part. The last line right side is a 3ed grader. Other five students are 1st graders (15yrs). The 3ed grader girl developed 1st graders' faculties to this level. Even it's difficult to play the flute while dancing intensely, they play it while jumping and in the air! It's nearly impossible. Moreover, their great tone and the choreography with the whole are superb. The third grader girl (plus some OGs, possibly) accomplished them in ONLY ONE MONTH! Not only flute part, this goes for other parts too. The conveyed tradition and the instruction method of performances in Tachibana band are almost a miracle. The mind of Tachibana in 2018 Rose Parade is still succeeded. However, 1st graders cannot yet jump as high as a 3ed grader. It is a little more patience to be full-fledged orange devils. :)

Hiroyasu Ichikawa . Are those who want to participate on the band they get their favorite instruments or given by the school? What OG stands for???
3 weeks ago at Blumen Hügel the freshmen were marching behind the band and now they’re performing! you can tell them apart by how white their shirts are ! 😀
again, this senior high school band is so amazing, more energetic, charisma,a full packages that no other band to compare it,their no one in all categories that you could imagine,,more and more power to you all..
What a fantastic group of first year members! They look like they have been there for years!

6:15 Big jump in "Aloha, E Komo Mai". Flute captain looks like so happy. Maybe because, first grader of 5 girls entered flute section.

Thank you for that video, it was a great insight into the band at the back and how hard the flutes and clarinets work hard physically and yet still play most beautifully. Once again the crowds that come to watch these bands is quite extraordinary, I noticed at one point people running across the grass to get a glimpse. It is a wonderful tribute to these kids and to perform under such much watchful eyes 👀 and ears 👂🏻. No pressure there eh 😱😂. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊
It never ceases to amaze me to see the huge numbers of video cameras all pointed at this band. Does any other band in Japan, school or professional, attract as much attention? Nice to see that the first year kids are coming along, making the band's numbers expand with each new performance. Note how you are seeing more and more audience members waving small yellow/orange/black flags. It's the newest Japanese rage! The Diablettes are slowly becoming as popular as the band itself.

3 Diablos - Little One got a Hi-Five from my favorite clarinet player. Yay!!! She had to run to get that one but you have to run fast little ones to stay up with Tachibana. Glad to see your got your Hi-Fives. Flute Section - We don't get to hear you very much being in the back of the Band. Bravo for your musicianship and performance. You ROCK!!!! Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching Band sounds much improved with the addition of the 1st year students. This parade is always a very nice setting for both spectators and Bands alike. And notice toward the end of the parade, other bands watching KT from the sides . Shows the amount of respect and admiration they have for the greatest Band in existence. 🧡💛🧡💛⭐⭐⭐⭐KYOTO TACHIBANA SHS MARCHING BAND⭐⭐⭐⭐🧡💛🧡💛!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice color rendering of the video! Thank you for the video. 🙇♂️🙏🙏

It was fun to see how often the 3 Diablos would pop up throughout the route. =) It was also really interesting to see so many of the KT flags in the audience.

Yes, they did. They received " High-Five " from Banner Carrier, Color Guards,D M, "Penguin - chan ", and perhaps others unseen. Here's a fun video about "The Three Small Orange Diablos "on this day. KZfaq video: Kyoto Tachibana High School Brass Band Brass Expo 2019 Nishioji Parade

Impressive!! Also learn quite a lot from the comments below. I enjoy the flute section. The freshmen picked up the skills very fast. Probably they know all the steps and tunes in their sleep. Must had endured a lot of practices. Love KTSHS Band ❤️

First, I want to give a shout out to the women and men who guarded and provided support to the band, thank you! Finally, I've seen past events where people will film the band member (s) just inches away, to me, that would be annoying.
