With the use of various props foley artists recreate the sound effects for movies that haven't been captured on-set. A movie is incomplete without there work..they are foley artist. lets discuss about them there history and how foley works in movies.
A Foley artist at work
Foley (named after sound-effects artist Jack Foley)is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.These reproduced sounds can be anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass. The best Foley art is so well integrated into a film that it goes unnoticed by the audience. It helps to create a sense of reality within a scene. Without these crucial background noises, movies feel unnaturally quiet and uncomfortable.
Foley artists recreate the realistic ambient sounds that the film portrays. The props and sets of a film often do not react the same way acoustically as their real life counterparts.Foley sounds are used to enhance the auditory experience of the movie. Foley can also be used to cover up unwanted sounds captured on the set of a movie during filming, such as overflying airplanes or passing traffic.
The term "Foley" also means a place, such as Foley-stage or Foley-studio, where the Foley process takes place.

यही तो असली कलाकार और साऊंडमास्टर है. फिल्मो मे जो भी दर्शक आवाज सुनते है वो असली आवाज नही होता. पर्दे पर दर्शकों को असली आवाज लगता है, उसी आवाज को बनाने के लिए बहुत मेहनत करनी पड़ती है. मेरे खयाल से ऐसे आवाज बनाने वाले कलाकार असली हिरो है. तो यही है असली कलाकार और साऊंड मास्टर. 👍

Very recently seen a bangalee film (national award winner) named 'SOBDO' by director Kaushik Ganguly, where the work and life of a dedicated folly artist has been portrayed, no dought it's laborious and creative too. The imagination to use specific tools to creat a right sound and cater justice to the actions with ultimate sound effect impact on the screen. It's not a joke. Thanks to all the folly artist who are also a bigger part of an interesting and commercially successful film with their part of creativity, no matter how far behind the screens do they work but they work great.

बहुत बहुत बढिया जाणकारी. और ये जो कलाकार हैं बेजण फिल्म मे जन फुंक देते हैं और फिर बढिया फिल्म तयार होती हैं. हमको ये मालूम ही नाही था की फिल्म मे इंका रोल कितना अहं हैं हम तो बस हिरो,हिरोईन,व्हिलन , डायरेक्टर ,सिंगर इतना ही जान्ते थे. भाई एक बडा योगदान हैं फिल्म मे .
