The instrument is a copy of the 1679 J.J Couchet made by Sebastiano Calì.

I started playing piano when I was 26 after reading tabs for classical guitar. I’m 27 now and can read sheet music and play some of Bach’s preludes and ordered inventions part two and three. Although I regret not playing sooner as my mother was a piano teacher, I am grateful that KZfaq brought me to you to be truly inspired. Your playing is incredible

Your expression and interpretation of Bach’s work is extremely beautiful and unique, Chiara. When I now listen to a CD by someone else, I can hardly recognize it... Grazie, Chiara!

“Music is the space between the notes” - Claude Debussy wrote. In Chiara's performances the music breathes, as the notes are summoned, each distinct, from a higher plane. The heart pauses ever so slightly with Chiara breath by breath. And all is so natural.

E' da un pò che la seguo e mi interessano molto le sue interpretazione di Bach al clavicembalo. Quello che mi ha colpito in questo video è la naturalezza nel suonare in piedi, così come se niente fosse. Troppo forte.
