To divide Budhhisim and Hinduism away is the main agenda. Budhhisim is as much part of Sanatan Dharma as is modern Hinduism. It is another way of philosophysing the same core concepts. There are many schools of thought in the Dharmic traditions and Buddhisim is one of the most distinct and at one time the very popular amongst them. It is all Kalachakra just like the way Vedic gods like Indra or Varun are hardly worshipped today. Trying to divide our belief systems is the biggest agenda of foreign powers. Most in Indian Kings have always patronised all schools with some exceptions and at some times some preferences. Same temples have motifs from both. Let us not turn this into a divisive agenda.

Buddha never “rejected” the caste system because it was the social arrangement of his day - he merely emphasised that it should be a merit-based system and not birth-based. Buddha’s libertarian and anti-establishment views on caste are echoed repeatedly and frequently in the Hindu literature as well. The difference being - Buddha’s views were adopted in toto by his followers and non-discrimination was practiced in admitting members of all castes to the Sangha. Even without knowing that such an argument that Buddhist Aaraamas were occupied and converted into Hindu temples are in the air, this thought suddenly came to my mind when I analysed the names of Five Shaiva kshetras known as Panchaaraamas in Andhra - Daksharamam, Bheemaraamam, Somaaraamam, Kumaraaraamam and Amaraaraamam all the names ending with aaraamam which is principally used to describe a Bouddha kshetra. I felt whether they were Buddhist sites converted to Shaivite temples when the staunch Shaivites Cholas and Chalukyas came to power in this region of Andhra Pradesh. I may be wrong and my argument may be preposterous. I am a Hindu and not a Buddhist.

That's not true. Temples in their majestic form were created after the Vasudeva movement, which officialy started the worship of King Vasudeva ll, whom we today know as Lord Krishna. The Vrishnis, Pandyas, Cholas, and some other Vedic tribes have many a records of temple building. The Vasudeva Movement/Vasudevism/Early Krishnasm started way before Buddha or his disciples were born.

Maturity is realising the dhamma lipi( jainism and Buddhists literature's language, ashoka's inscription language) was developed much earlier than the sanskrit (devnagiri lipi).. Buddha and mahavir faught their entire life only and only against the vedas and brahminism (because this was the only religion prevalent at that time) You see swami Vivekananda has mentioned that jagannath puri is Buddhist temples camptured by hindus(term came in 8th century)... Huang san the Chinese traveller when visited saket(present ayodhya) He described Buddhism was glowing at that time in that area ... Alexander Cunningham discovered 3 Buddhists sites there(and shameless santanis tried to claim that too) The ram charitramanas which you guys read today was written in 16th century. NOTE:- I am not here to hurt your religious beliefs but i as a thervada Buddhist can't tolerate brahmanisation of Buddhism. Brahmins have created a lot of mess , you should realise this.

Lets understand Jainism & Buddhism predates Adi Shankaracharya who made vegetarianism and satwik Brahminism. Now we can do arm chair arguments but those days the lower castes wanted some god like person to enlighten them. Jainism, Buddhism and later Adi Shankara did what others could not in human form. Now Mr. Vishnu Jain is fighting for Krishna Janmasthan for decades. We are all one, Jainism and Sikhism are sects basically. Even Buddha was a born Hindu and he promoted ahimsa which all of us Hindus are proud of. I do not think Buddha ever said replace temples, his followers who were kings would do it after he expired. I am a Brahmin but I support all 4, Buddhism, Sanatana dharma, Jainism for its utmost love for living beings and we should support Sikhs. This argument of one upmanship is uncalled for, it will only fuel others to drive a wedge among us. Sai deepak will create problems even among a united family with his doubtful mind, even Bhagwad Gita shows Buddha as an avatar but we belittle the lord for the sake of argument. We should feel proud of his holiness, we may not agree but he was an enlightened one. Saved billions of living beings from war, butchery and gluttony. He was an apostle of peace.

He gives refference in every and each arguments . Remember in last 60 - 70 years I have not seen any educated hindu oppose Budda philosophy . Now a days some political buddist ( beemte ) crossed limits . I would like to ask about Buddhism to persons like Dalai Lama . Neo buddist are not buddist at all .

See the few common points in Buddhism and Islam .... No idol worship and no rebirth and no soul concept , concept of conversion, converting the kings and forcing them to follow their religion and forcibly implementing on people , sending missionaries for conversion .... These all are same in Islam and Buddhism .... So sanatana followers fought against buddhism to re establish santana culture, in same way we are fighting against Islam and missionaries to re establish the sanatana culture ......
