TOOK A TRIP TARGETING TARPON IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA FISHING A GOOD WAYS BACK IN THE ST. JOHNS RIVER. WHILE THE TARPON WERE DEFINITELY OUT AND ACTIVE THEY JUST WOULD NOT EAT SO WE SWITCH TO SNOOK FISHING AND FOUND SUCCESS! WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE TO CATCH SEVERAL SNOOK HERE IN JACKSONVILLE ALL IN ONE DAY BECAUSE SNOOK ARE FAR FROM A COMMON CATCH HERE, ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT! Very good video, I really like that such a good KZfaqr is showing up here in Jacksonville. I have been just sitting around waiting on the flounder to show back up and having enjoyed your videos until then,. Keep up the good work.

FlattyDaddy man your awesome! I really appreciate that! Might need some flounder tips from yah! I catch them often but not the best at specifically targeting them. Especially the big ones!

FlattyDaddy I’m more of an artificial guy myself. Gulp shrimp is my favorite for flounder. And yea I’d definitely love to know how you do it man.

@@saltymoonfishing not much to it really. I don't have an inshore boat so I wade docks a lot in the river. I use mostly gulp swimming mullet on a jighead and all I typically fish for is flounder. The mayport area should be good starting in 3 or 4 weeks. Fish should be moving back inshore. Followed u on Instagram also.

That's my neck of the woods! I live in the san marco area and never thought there were fish in Marco Lake. My buddy keeps his boat at Arlington Marina.

Hey man dope video, and that shout out from buddy in his yard was funny. I live in neptune beach and i'm addicted to tarpon to say the least. Finicky fuckers but thats what makes them so addicting. I bet if you put a well presented fly in their face they would eat, but it really depends on the day. Tight lines mane just subbed

This is awesome dude, super good quality videos as well as local! I plan on getting out in the little creeks off the St. John’s this morning to get myself on a tarpon (hopefully) definitely got a new subscriber :)

I'd love to see a flounder video. I also know where there will be some stripers in a couple months. I also use a somewhat obscure bait I found in California that has outfished live bait for me in the past. You won't find them here but can order them online.

I love flounder fishing and I catch a lot of them, but as far as directly targeting them I lack a little knowledge. I’ve never caught a striper but they are definitely on the 2 do list so that would be killer! I’ve heard someone else talking about some baits they found out of California that slay! They must be really good!

Exaggerate much?..I grew up in this area and people have known its potential for Tarpon and Snook since the early 80's when I was a kid. This one vid isn't going to cause hordes of boats fishing..lol!
