I really love that Dean picked her up and spun her around. A lot of contestants would be upset that they hadn't won and I'm sure he was, but you can tell how happy he was for her and how much he cared about her.

This is 2021 and I stumbled onto Marlisa about 6 months ago. I have never heard such a beautiful singing voice in my life and I am 69 years old. What a talent and what a wonderful person you are Marlisa. And the relationship between you and Ronan was special to behold. I have binged watched the entire 2014 X Factor Australia every day since I discovered it. I never tire of listening to you sing. I also have listened to every song you have on you tube. What a talent! I would love to hear you live someday. Do you plan on coming to the USA anytime soon. I live in California and I would drive hours just to hear you sing. I praise God for you and your god-given talent.

Her problem was her shyness and modest restraint before and after her performances. This changed during X-Factor completely and to watch this change was amazing. Her confidence grew but her lovable friendly humoruos heart remained. She was a worthy winner.
