Winter vacation/ summer vacation/ Saturday, sunday vacation, no night duties despite lakhs of cases pending, doubling their salaries without thinking other departments, visiting hospitals and instructing doctors to do night duties, offending them, no professional negligence for judges though they r proved wrong in higher courts, this is indian judiciary the greatest

it is similar to any business cartel but here they prolong for many years without trial to ensure that every stake holder makes money from poor citizens

Dude their life is miserable man. A doctor's life is miserable for 3 years of residency ,that's all. That too only the 1st year is bad. Whereas I have seen judges taking home work even after 20 years of service. And the vacations you speak about is not a vacation per se. It is for writing Judgements. And when a question u need to decide has far fetched implications then it won't be easy. The delay is usually caused by parties. Judgement can be written ony after hearing both parties. If one party decides to drag , it will keep dragging. Can't decide unless they both conclude. If u are too harsh then might actually be meting out injustice coz the party may have reasonable and just cause for the delay. So judges grant time. Moreover they have to keep arguing with every advocate to keep things within the four walls of law. Not an easy job as u think it to be. Believe me it's hectic. It's almost like 1st year residency expect the shift is 12 hours every day. And the holiday is mostly spent on writing Judgements for which u have to peruse all records placed before u. Many run thousands of pages. Should always be very careful . No scope for mistakes coz u have placed with power even to condemn a person to death. With great power comes great responsibility
