@Happy Hour Podcast Jack, easier said than done i know as im a reactor at times too especially when its stupid comments n no understanding to what theyre commenting about but don't worry about them ignore them people Jaack they either jealous or jus don't like seeing ones happiness. I'll be the first to say I'm envious in the terms that I'm struggling in life atm financially n other things plus have a little girl aswel etc so I'm not fortunate to go to games etc but love what you do love listening to HHP n watching you do the WEST HAM content too I'd love to do what you do but I wouldn't give you verbal or any sort of abuse because of it. I'm a MASSIVE west Ham Fan but also a football fan too.! I played at decent level back in the day n still play competitive football now it's my passion. So DO NOT let ANYONE bring you down n carry on doing what you do bro. As for taking Stevie.. so what like you said Stevie is not replacing someone's ticket allocation, who cares if he's United he's there with you for you working etc I been Arsenal to watch them as my best mate is Arsenal n sometimes he has spare season ticket n I goo with him brave or stupidly I still wear west ham though 😂 chin up n try rise above them mate skim past them sort of comments n have a chuckle to yourself n let them trolls be you're good great mate.! I find it absolutely mental that Jack has to justify his position for a career he has worked bloody hard for. Fair play for you sitting the haters down Jack but you shouldn’t need to mate. I went to a Derby game the other day and I'm not a derby fan, I loved it. As a fan of football I reccomend everyone goes to another teams games and sits among their fans it's a unique experience and in the right circumstances can be amazing. I was in awe of the derby fans the other night despite their situation and the result they sang the full game, even after the full time whistle and it was a 3-1 loss. Really gave me something to think about when it comes to my clubs fans

Well said Jaack, I rarely tweet on football anymore despite having always loved it. Something that gets on my nerves now is also how apparently some cardinal sin to wear the shirt of the team you support to a game, labelled a shirter or noddy by some 50 year old clad in fake stone island. The whole I'm a bigger fan than you puts me off being a football fan at time. Going to gigs , despite having a reputation for elitism never have these issues and you know that there's a 99% chance you gonna come out the other side having listened to some great music and happy for it. Much better odds than at the footy (Southampton fan - so not there for the glory) haha

Always loved how humble you are and agree with you 97% of the things you say, there is a massive issue with people in poverty no being able to afford to go to the football and the fact that 100s if not thousands of tickets are given away indirectly affects some of the supports, however the abuse is wrong because who would seriously turn down free tickets? I was lucky enough to watch Barcelona in 2006 and it was easily the best experience I’ve had as a football fan if we had to pay for them I would never have got to seen any of it

I used to be a hotel manager, we would get 10 tickets from every team that stayed with us to hand out to staff as a thank you, They allocate “free” tickets for all different reasons xx

As I’d say a massive Utd fan, I’ve been to Plymouth vs Oxford as it was the closest team to wear I used to live and loved it it’s like a club close to my heart. I’ve watched Portugal vs Argentina at old Trafford. Saw all the big names. I wouldn’t care if there weren’t all Utd fans at the Utd games. Football is football it’s for everyone. I’d happily go watch any team with the exception of liverpool and city maybe. But even then if I was in the home end I’d still enjoy the game. You guys are awesome. Absolutely love your videos. Football fans in England have become very privileged. I have a lot of mates, who go with their kids, who complain how much they spend on a match day; food, the club shop, more food, more beer etc. You don't have to do any of this; just take them to a game. People seem to want to turn it into an event, you're paying to watch a game of football. That's it. It's a problem with England as a whole, we've Americanised our expectations, we want it all, now, for nothing. We want everything for free. And we'll spend 100 quid a head and not expect Sky to leach off us. Go to game, eat before, drink after. Just watch the game, with your ears and eyes and not through an iPhone lens.

The tickets you have been given are a separate allocation to the fan allocation, So like you’ve already said the two tickets you’ve ‘taken’ isn’t impacting the allocation that every day fans are eligible to try and buy

I’ve always been a West Ham fan but admittedly not been to many games in recent years for various reasons, however, decided on the off chance to see if I could get some a few weeks before the game and was lucky enough to get some. Took the misses to her first ever game and had one of the best nights I’ve ever had at a game. Point being anyone could have bought tickets, if they had the funds available obviously. Bitter people will always hate jack, just let their utter rubbish comments fall on deaf ears mate!

You didn’t mention groundhopppers. I’m a Tottenham fan and have been to many a home and away game despite living 3 hours away from our stadium. But I travel the country going to all new grounds to watch random games with mates. I love football, every match day experience is different. But I would NEVER sit in the home end at the Emirates

I didn't see the offence that was caused by the tweet but more that it was misguided at the wrong person. I can see what they were trying to say but jackmate isn't bad/fake or whatever is being implied. I can relate to this to a certain extent because I am a derby county fan and had a season ticket when I was younger, but for Christmas I got my girlfriend Chelsea tickets because she loves mason mount (shock). Even though I support a different team it doesn’t mean that I can’t cheer on Chelsea as they’re a club that are close to my heart aswell with people related to the club such as lampard and mount who represented derby and I admire. But it makes me a ‘glory hunter’ or a ‘plastic fan’ even though I’m going to watch just a game of football that I would watch on the tv anyway. Just don’t make sense to me🤷‍♂️

i do kinda agree with the away end tbing from the start of the video (norwich vs watford) as it could be taking away from an actually fan who wanted to go. that being said, i see it as fair game if any game or allocation goes to general sale. the sevilla vs west ham thing is just stupid

My mates a Liverpool fan and we live in Nottingham so he wanted to go to the game at the weekend in the FA cup but wasn’t paying 700 quid to be in the away end. I thought about asking why not join the home fans but, what’s going to happen to someone who is literally celebrating at the expense of the people he is surrounded by

End of the day mate you work hard to be in this position and fortunately there are benefits that come with it but that's not on you when they're offered, I put it down to toxic jealousy, being g jealous is fine it can push you to achieve higher heights but if you're not willing to then you don't deserve to go watch inconsequential football games, regardless of what football ultimately means to you
