This is a true story happened to myself and my ex-sisterinlaw. The lord knows how much we had to suffer being the daughters in law of one awful household. I understand many want this drama banned but people don't seem to fathom that these things still exist in society. And the root cause of it is being away from islam and not trusting Allah swt enough. All the women out there Please do not fall prey to such households. Be aware of your rights and always have the feeling that your Lord is with you. There's no khair in opting to suffer your entire life just because you found the true nature (if it's bad) of your in laws. Allah swt does not intend us to suffer , else they'd be no concept of dua and tawakkal. But do not continue to be the victim. Always have a sense of dignity and honor and maintain it no matter what. You don't necessarily have to be rude but please put your foot down for such unreasonable things.

Teach your daughters to never never bear this kind of behaviour.

If this is happening in our society then it's disgusting and should be shown. We need to take a stand against such behaviour where women are being abused.
