Hey Amrita, how are you and family doing? I was caught up with stuff so didn’t get a chance to check out your videos until now. Loving the fresh and thriving look of the plants with the rain there. Also, happy is as always so adorable hehe. So we usually make two kind of daal for daal chawal: either a mixture of moong-masoor daal or the Sabut masoor daal / black whole masoor daal. I recently found out about toor daal. I made it once as part of the mixed daal concoction but to be honest, we don’t eat it on its own. I think it’s usually the daal served at langar? Same thing with paneer. We don’t use it in our cooking either. The roti looked tedious to make but I’m sure it was delicious. I am so glad that you are taking such good care of not only happy but your dad and sister too. It is endearing indeed. Daughters are usually closest to their dad anyways hehe.
