ये हैं भारतीय संस्कृति जिसके बारे में हमारे पुरखों ने हमें सहेजा , हिदायत दी और जो दिया बहुत सोच समझकर अपनी पीढ़ी को दिया। इसलिए वे संस्कार आज भी जिंदा हैं। आज हम जो भी हो हमारे पूर्वज तो एक ही थे और संस्कृति और संस्कार भी एक ही थे। इसलिए जो भी हमें विरासत में मिला उसकी आयु बहुत लंबी है, फिर चाहे वह संगीत ही क्यों न हो।

Mr Lala Atarji, Truly spoken..I saw old Andaz on a C.D..I was very young when this movie was realised..it was mine late Dad's favorite movie..I remember my Dad had purchased a Gramophone at that time & His Master Voice Records were in the house ..I thought that someone inside the box was singing the songs..

Naushad means classical and Indian folk. He used western instruments but never copied others. He remains the original standard for cinematic music from the fifties. In the forties he did work with the great Saigal and others but it was with Rafi and Lata that he flourished.

Naushad sahib was all time great and would be always present through his work in the Indian music till doomsday. His music is great but I also like Shankar Jaikishan, Madan Mohan,s D burman , C Ramchander and Hemant kumar ,Anil biswas,Khem chand Parkash and Salil chaudhary. They were equally great in their own right.In the kpk distt bannu of Pakistan shankar jaikishan had great following from 1956 till their death. Pashto singers would sing pashto songs based on their tunes.After all the people of Pakistan share ethnicity with Indians and we have similar temperaments.
