The guy can actually shoot but from an athletic standpoint they do have similar athleticism.

Sadly they can't cut him, he's guaranteed to get paid till 2019. Bird is on a 2 way contract as well.

Plays with a tonne of energy. Athletic, can shoot, gets after it on defense. Should get all of naders minutes.

I know nader has been working hard and he's been improving but Jabari Bird, my man's impact is instant, and bird is wayyy more athletic too.

Only way bird can play in the playoffs is if Brad releases one of the guys on the roster to free up space then sign him to a standard Nba deal PLEASE CUT NADER and sign bird. This one game he has shown more promose then Nader has all season!

Jabari Bird stepped away from the nba at age 25 after being traded and waived because he dealt with panic attacks, emotional issues. And to make it worse he was facing domestic abuse and kidnapping charges.

As a Cal grad it's depressing to think about the season we had Jaylen Brown, Jabari Bird, Jordan Mathews (transferred and in the championship game for Gonzaga the following year), Tyrone Wallace (started at PG for the Clippers this season), and Ivan Rabb (Grizzlies) and couldn't win a game in the tournament.

Bird is awesome. I have been advocating for him getting more minutes all season. Dude was injured for a long time though. In terms of style I would he reminds me of Jamal Crawford more than anyone. That is if Jamal Crawford knew how to defend.

THIS GUY needs to be in the playoffs right now! if only... but isn't shane larkin injured(out) -they should just declare Larkin out for playoffs and offer Bird a contract & get him in, i wonder if it's possible

people before you shout "hope to see him in the playoffs" he wont not because im saying so but because the Celtics have a full roster and hes only their for injury he wont be allowed to play in the post season. and yes i know its ridiculous

Bird is on a two-way contract, he is not eliglble to play in the playoffs unless Celtics offer him a standard deal.

If that happens (still a big if), Ainge will have turned Jeff Green into the 2021 MEM 1st rd pick unprotected (conveys sooner if its late lotto), a few productive years of Jonas Jerebko, and a cheap roleplayer in Jabari Bird.

I was dumbfounded when nader got the full contract over jabari bird. He was better than him in college and summer league confirmed it after two games. Bad decision by the Cs. Birds like a taller rozier.
