There are dance crews, and there is Jabbawockeez. Other groups have great dance routines, but the Wockeez created a new art form altogether.

If dancing was an Olympic sport, the Jabbawockeez would hold the record for most gold medals.

There is no official "best dance group" on earth, but I'd pick these guys. Aside from their moves, they do it all while wearing those masks (really hard to see or breathe in) and they want you to see them as a collective group rather than picking your favorite guy. Each one is equally skilled and each one gets their moment in the spotlight. Also, everytime they do a head spin, they get right up. Not remotely dizzy. *GODLIKE.*

they not only have choreography and synchronization, they also have humor, showmanship and character, which I think is so aesthetically pleasing about this group.

When you do something so good you make it look easy. That's what happens to some people who see Jabba and say the are overrated. They are so grounded in TRUE hip hop dance, That they have perfected it in their own patented way. Some people think they should change it up. Yeah right. Change up what makes Jabba who they are. Like Telling Michael Jackson or James Brown, To change up their dancing when they where alive. No If you do something so great and it Identifies who you are that anyone else who copies it, people will know right of the bat it's a copy, then you don't change from it. You own it. You own the hell out of it. Then you get paid for it. Lol

i can't begin to even comprehend how amazing that was, you guys hit every beat and destroyed it.

The fact that they all got their own moves and sequence it together instead of everyone doin the same exact thing every time makes this group incredible

These guys do what a lot of others can't. They don't just impress us with what they do. They put on a real show, that is truly entertaining. To me, that is what makes a group stand out from all of the others. Nothing is better than seeing people doing something they love, having fun as they do it and adding their own personalities to it. This performance had me smiling the whole way through

When I am feeling bad or down, I watch the Jabbawockeez dance and all is well in the world again. They make me soooooo happy. Fred Astaire and Bob Fosse wish they could have danced and choreographed as well. The Jabbawockeez are and will always be the best dancers of all time to me.

2021 and this still remains my fav. The last segment from when Gary Ray Kendall begins to talk for me holds what I would call the iconic moves of Jabawockeez.

Every time you go back and watch these Jabbawockeez videos you see something you missed the first 50 times. Every lil pop and lock; the way they move their hands; the way they move their heads; KB robotic sticking points. The expressions coming from their bodies, not their faces! Simply Amazing! I got to watch it again! JF4L!!!!!

As I sit here with a big smile on my face, I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this performance! So, so Jabba! Perfection!! They may not hit hard or do wild stunts, but their simplicity and artistry is on a whole different level from other dancers - that's why they've succeeded far beyond many dance crews, because they don't just dance for the love of dancing, they also perform, entertain, and create art through movement. Not to mention they are hilarious. Jabba for life.

My 3yo has just discovered the Jabbawockeez and a day doesn't go by that he doesn't request a dance session watching their videos and practicing his moves. During this pandemic there's been so much stress and disconnect...7yrs later this video is inspiring a new generation of dancers. As a hip hop dancer myself, I can't explain the giddiness (I literally squealed lol) that I felt when I watched my kid "pop n lock" for the 1st time after watching a few mins of video with the "white mask dancers." I hate when people try and compare other groups to the Jabbawockeez as if they are better than them or just like them. Then I go and check the dance crew out and all they are doing is flips and stunts and shit. Jabbawockeez are pure dancers who are theatrical and entertaining. That is why they are in my opinion the best dance crew in the world. Quest crew fucked up the dance crew thing for a lot of people.
