you put the skirting armor on wrong you need to make sure pay close attention to the instructions

For those wondering, the Advance MS Joint used in RG kits is made out of two types of plastic: ABS and polypropylene. What I've notice while building RG kits and those MG emotion manipulator hands is that you can't paint over the polypropylene plastic as the paint won't stick to it. You can only paint over the ABS plastic. To know whether if it's ABS or polyethylene, see if the part is attached to the runner. If it is, that's polypropylene plastic

Honestly I think the RG Unicorn is one of the best kits Bandai have put out period, it's just so brilliantly engineered to transform, articulate well, and be super sturdy all at once.

Had the same issue with the skirts falling off my unicorn until I pushed them in more. They will make a clicking noise and should be good to go. Love my Mg but this is far better and the 00 raiser was the best rg, this takes it.

I believe that the side skirt problem could be because the parts aren’t in all the way. I thought the same for the rg unicorn until i actually saw mecha gaikotsu’s review and now they never come off.

I found that if the the skirt armor keeps popping off, then it's not clipped deep enough into the ball joint

Just built it this week, the frame is so tight that i broke the right elbow when trying to loosen the frame, still but still had fun and that arm still holding the beam magnum so not big of a deal

I have the real grade unicorn and I'm loving it!!! ^^

Now we need a mg 2.0 unicorn with that extra plastic for the eye piece for the unicorn mode

The hip skirts need to be attached horizontally and they will click in better. The exact way it shows in the manual

To me, the RG Unicorn is MUCH better than the MG. I have both kits btw, and my RG is more solid and it’s easier to pose for me since I loosened up the joints. The side skirts on my kit don’t fall off, and I did enjoy the decals. But hey, it’s my opinion, and currently my favorite RG (even though I currently only have 3, the other two being the GP01fb and the Sinanju)

How did you put on the skirts? In the manual if you pop them on up, it eventually clicks in and holds its position well. I made the mistake of putting them on down.

I built the RG Unicorn and i had no issues building it Also built the MG and i gotta say RG was WAY easier to build

the skirt armors don't pop off....just fit it correctly and it'll be nice and solid

Jabman there is nothing wrong with the skirting I have recently built one. If you hold the skirt piece horizontally to the waist push it on then fold it down. It will secure so snug only force will remove it again.

which better MG or RG banshee? still confused between these two

I ve buil tthe unicorn rg and the skirt is solid, either there is a fault on your version or the piece is not completely in, making them fit is a pain in the ass since the stub move to the side when pushin in also, the shoulder require about 10 to 20 spins each before building. I use my teeth to latch the joint when spinning it since is a lot more versatile and more adjustable than any plyers basicly bitting the black part near the base and spinning the arm like a wrench. I'm waiting on mine to arrive.

excellent review but get the unicorn yes yes u have a ton but the rg unicorn is damn near flawless

I can already see the normal banshee as a p-bandai release as well as the green psycho frame ver same with the unicorn OR like the bande dessine a limited edition release

Those skirts won't fall off if you pushed them in completely...which is kind hard to do. Well, I think those arms are way too tight. If you don't handle them extremly careful, it will break...personal experience xD other than that it's a perfect RG to me

Yeah MG Unicorn gets too much of a bad rap, I still think the RG is the better kit overall but neither are that bad of options.

It's too bad that this RG still has a super tight shoulder joint like the RG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam since I presume many people either have broken that part or stressed the plastic. Besides that, I think it's safe to say that the RG version is probably the better than the HG and MG in terms of quality (besides the super tight shoulder). At this point, I think for fans, your best choices are the RG and PG versions. So between those, I think more people will choose the RG version based mostly on the MSRP difference between an RG and PG, and also the size difference. Odds are, I think we'll eventually see an RG release for (be it through P-Bandai or not): - RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam [Red] - RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam [Green] - RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee - RX-0[N] Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn [Final Battle Ver] - RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex ...and probably other obscure event type or company type of release like ANA or the [CODE 852] variant.

Is it just me or are the proportions on the rg different than the mg. Mg looks real lanky to me.

I hear so many good things about the RG Unicorn, but since Bandai doesn’t wanna give us the superior versions of the designs, I still haven’t picked them up. Not getting one of these things until they give us the regular Banshee. I don’t need to pollute my shelf with this Norn trash.

Imagine this tech used for an mg unicorn 2.0. Same as the sinanju, that would have been the best gunpla of all time. Rg line sucks. Microscopic details. No playability.. no shelf presence. And geez. Of course this will be better than the.mg. rg's were developed using research and tech from existing pg and mg. Downsized and crammed to 1/144 scale. An exploding fucking piece of mess. A "bite more than you can chew" grade line.
