Love the honest information, would’ve been nice to hear what your assistant had to say about them. Pros Cons . I’m undecided. Being a senior I have friends with a love hate relationship with their hearing devices. Depending on their surroundings (car, restaurant, one on one etc,,.)

This is how hearing aids should be sold. Manufacturers compete with each other to come up with the best products . People can buy them online from places like Amazon or wherever they want and not pay the insane markups that especially hearing specialist charge when they have less than a community college degree. Then the consumer can go and choose to pay more to go to an actual audiologist or a hearing specialist hopefully who does real ear measurement to help customize and program the hearing aids that are bought over the counter which all hearing aids should be.

Would it help at all with tinnitus, I do have moderate hearing also? If not would you recommend any hearing aids that look similar to the Jabra design?

Would love a recommendation for OTC for single side deafness. Tried Cros and not impressed after numerous tries over 20 years. All OTC’s want to sell me pairs.

This is the same review from last year. I was able to get slightly over 11 hours out of the battery. But my problem is with the calls. The farther away I get away from the phone my voice fades out but I don’t have a problem with streaming. iPhone 13 running iOS 16.3

I took the hearing test offered by Jabra and they recommended the enhance 50 pair. They thought they could restore my hearing to a normal level. Would this be reliable?

How many cycles do the batteries last? (An apple laptop battery charge last many hours, but after many hundred recharging cycles, the battery itself must be replaced) Does Jabra replace the internal rechargeable battery?

I just bought the Jabra. The CLOSED Ear Gel had my own voice booming in my head. I changed to the VENTED Ear Gels that came with the hearing aid and it made a dramatically positive difference. I think the Doc misstated the fact that the Jabra came with these VENTED Ear Gels.

As they dont work with Android it would be good to get a comparison with th Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus which do work on Android

The sound quality is pretty good, however... I need them to run at 9 or 10 volume (Surround mode) to get enough volume out of them, is anyone else having this issue? For reference, my last hearing test is around 50-60 dB from 3K hz - 6 Khz. thank you

I’ve got mild/moderate hearing loss and had them for a little less than a week now, but unfortunately they seem to make it harder to hear and not easier. I’ve tried all the different tips, and settings and retaken the hearing test in the app, but nothing seems to make them work well for me. It’s unfortunate that you can’t program in and audiogram from the doctor. I may end up returning them and trying AirPods Pro 2 instead.

I have the Jabra Enhance 10 Pro's. The streaming is terrible. The hearing aid's are excellent. My right ear is nearly deaf, so speech recognition at the high gain required to hear is on no benefit. I just need pass through. Because of my condition and the useless streaming of my Jabra Enhance Pro's I would love to try the Jabra Enhance Plus hearing aides. I think I would get better all around use because I wouldn't need to switch to my AirPods for phone calls and online meetings. But their not available in Canada. I imagine this is due to our regulatory regime. Any idea when these will be available in Canada?

Still ios only? How do they stack up against Sony's OTC? Any idea?

My son just ordered these hearing aids so was checking them out. I have been wearing hearing aids for years and have tried many brands. For those of us with poor hearing the in office fine tuning is a must. I agree with Cliff about those with moderate hearing loss the tuning is not as critical but still important. Since they have included the open gels does anyone know if they can use the Bluetooth capabilities with Android Phone?

Does anyone know if the Jabra Enhance Plus have airplane mode to switch all RF transmission off? Thanks!

Thanks for a great review. I purchased mine and love the way they help my hearing. Just one thing. There is a FIRMWARE UPDATE and when I start the update I get a " NO INTERNET CONNECTION" . I have an 14 Pro with the latest 16.3.1 version. I tried to install this also with cellular and I get the same thing. I'm waiting for support to return my inquiry. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I really would appreciate it!! Thanks :)

The Jabras now have open gels and they do a great job eliminating the occlusion effect.

Do the Jabra Enhanced Plus OTC utilize the latest bluetooth Auracast or LE. If not does Jabra/GN Resound have plans to incorporate either of these in their OTC . Ric Barnes Ft. Wayne IN

I'm not sure why it seems so important to make them small. I believe in the next few years they will become a fashion statement. Also before I purchase any aids I will need to know the cyclic range of the device as music is very important to me and some of these devices are designed for only human voice reception.

So which is better? Jabra Enhance Plus or Sony CRE-E10? I'm concerned about amount of amplification and enhancement that is possible for a typical old-person profile that has lost the high freqs big time. Watching both of your video reviews, with your test subject, it seems to me that both corrections are similar: both a little under amplified in the higher freqs, but still pretty good. And seems better than most other OTC units on the market. I know about features: the Jabra seems smaller and probably more comfortable, but iphone only. 10 hours of battery power is fine to me (Sony has more). On Sony I set max treble, volume 6-8, max forward directionality. UPDATE: I got both the Sony CRE-E10 and the Jabra Enhance plus. The sony was very nice, easy to program and the high frequency enhancement was pretty good. As Dr Cliff noted in his review, the Jabra does not have enough power to provide the high freqs that I needed. The correction fell well short of adequate. I returned the Jabra. Personally I would strongly advise against the Jabra in the future. The Sony correction was also a little short of needed, but much closer and a much better product, IMO. I thought the Jabra would be smaller, from the various reviews, but it was not. I also was not a fan of the Sony black color, but its still the better product.....

About 18 months ago, I was supplied with my first (and last!) pair of hearing aids - Phonak brand. I went to a national audiologist and underwent hearing test and was fitted with these. They give me slightly better hearing at the cinema or when watching TV (which I rarely do). They make zero difference when it comes to conversations and sometimes they impair my hearing further. When it comes to using the telephone, I don't hear a word being said and I have to take them out. Further, when I have worn them for more than about three hours, they are do irritating that I just want to tear my ears off. Having them adjusted makes zero difference. Were it not for the fact that some people report theirs work brilliantly, I would conclude that the whole audiology industry was some kind of racket.

Be aware jabra enhance 300 can take phone calls and stream music but what they dont tell you is ,only the frequency of your loss comes thru .to help you understand,if you coulg not here high frequencys and you hearing aid was set up to enhance those frequencys when streaming all you would here wouljd be high end thin harsh no balanced full spectrom sound.

Not loud enough for my moderate hearing loss and not multi device compatible. Thumbs way down in my experience. Returned

But....the big, unaddressed question is: do they drown live music in deep tremolo like my Signia Contrast? Does the volume creep to cause feedback while I wait for an orchestra to start playing - to the annoyance of audience and orchestra alike? Not even a hint at real life hearing aid issues in this excuse for a review - just a sales pitch for overpriced hearing devices that don't even comply with the prescription needs of somebody with very modest loss of hearing. In fact, audiologists do seem to share a conspiracy of silence in respect of most hearing aid negatives. They completely ignore the fact that TV uses music as well as speech. Where are the research programmes to solve these issues - nowhere to be seen - probably not needed while we foolishlypay through the nose for these "solutions".

Least, cheaper than other OTC. Plus better rated over Apple AirPods Pro

My new Jabra Enhance Plus stopped charging and not working within one year of purchase. Jabra has no service facility. Since I bought that from Amazon they won’t even refund or replace it. Guys it’s a waste of money please don’t buy it

So, just a note for everyone. If you had the jabra enhance plus, you can change the sound profile at will. If, on the other hand, you got the jabra enhance select, whatever model, that is supposed to be better, you are limited to one profile. If you sell it or give it to a relative or friend, they will not be able to reprogram it to their profile. So much for OTC aids...... FDA, you have failed again.....

I have Jambra enhance pro pm from costco. I find that everything sounds unnatural. I gone in 6 tmes to have them fix this. Sent out for repair twice. Do others have this problem? Do I need the $5000 ones to hear OK?
