The piano playing scene with Tabu and police inspector people clearing the crime scene and packing the dead body to soothing background piano music is a master short film in itself 🙌...if we see the previous films of the director sriram raghavan, he definitely has a liking for such a scene where a pianist is performing and action is happening

This was such a good thriller! Tabu was just ✨fabulous✨as SIMI. One of the very few but well written female characters in mainstream cinema.

Tabu nailed the role. Simi and Malty (in an anime) are the only two female characters than I hate so much that want to rip their spine out.

When she threw that old lady down the building like she is pouring a bucket of water down .. I remember .. there was a gasp in the theater .. a total silence .. and then a snicker .. a laugh of total surprise ... and bewilderment .... This movie is a masterpiece and masterclass in everything .. writing, acting, direction and so much more

@@RohanKumaar it was open ended not clear ending. Entire story is being narrated by an unreliable narrator. At the beginning of the movie itself, Aakash starts narrating by saying something like " Lambi kahani hai" Only facts we know for sure are- -Pramod Sinha was killed -Mrs Dsouza was killed -Aakash wasn't blind -Radhika apte's character saw aakash and Tabu's character together and thought they were having an affair. -Aakash came to London and wasn't blind there either (evidenced by him knocking off a can with his stick with 'rabbit' on top, now how would Aakash know whether a rabbit hit his car or some other animal,as according to his story, he was blinded by tabu at that time?) Further the question on beginning- what is life? "It depends on the liver" means Aakash's entire story may be a lie, as his life depends on how he narrated it. It is also a possibility that Aakash and tabu were sleeping together and killed Sinha. Ms dsouza and inspector found out and aakash and tabu killed both of them. Even D'Souza statement about third man being "bodybuilder" was never on record and wasn't known to any important character, so we don't know how aakash knows what she said. -It is also possible that everything was true except the last part where he gets new eyes. - Any other scenario is also possible where some of the things were true while others were false and a ploy to cover up.

The first time around, when the doctor and akash are driving on the highway with simmi in the back, you see them cross a tree on the right side of the road. The shot lasts some 20 seconds and you can see they are very far from the road. When akash meets Sophie on London, and she asks him what happened. He tells a her a fake version of the story. Which is, they stopped right opposite of the tree (doesn't make sense cause they wouldn't turn back right ?) The doctor attempted to vaccinate simmi but failed, she drove the car, wanted to hit and run akash but the rabbit came and hit her windshield.. This version of the story is a complete lie. The rabbit, blind just like akash kills simmi in the lie just like akash does. The rabbit is the metaphorical akash. Solved. So he did take her eyes.

I do like good south Indian films like drishyam but other than that most of the movies are over hyped and nonsense. FYI this movie was copied in south film industry 3 times and wasn't a big hit like Andhadhun.

@Rushabh Shah the generalization is so plain its almost like saying bollywood is only dance and songs. The 80 and 90 were cringefest in bollywood as well other south industries. same scripts were remade everywhere. There are some good and iconic films in all languages, same goes with the dud and masala movies. Its just that these few years south indian movies are able to cater to whole indian audience, that y the wave. Any average movie fan with decent sense of content will appreciate a good film irrespective of language. Andhadhun failed because many south indians already watched it in TV /OTT by word of mouth and also the actors in these remakes come nowhere close to the powerhouses like Tabu , AK
