Jaby, you were right in your assumption. In India, as in other countries (most probably), when someone calls themselves a 'theatre artist', the implication is that he/she is involved in performing stage shows in the theatre. As for the earlier bit about the young-looking mom, Munawar talks about 'Santoor', which is a soap... the ad for the soap shows people mistaking this young woman for an unmarried girl until her daughter comes running up to her calling her mom. Also, about your thoughts re his crowd work... perhaps if you watched one of his stand-ups in its entirety, it might change your mind.

Stop reacting to this hypocrite Munawaar Faruqui who have dared joked on the genocide of Hindus in Godhra Train burning. The victim were mostly women and small children burned alive. Jaby, don't you have any consciousness alive. Can you dare to do the same reacting on some comedian who joked on Jews Holocaust? If the answer is no then you too are hypocrite because it will prove that you are indifferent to the killing of Hindu women and children burned alive.

Do you even know that out of 59 people who were burned to death, there were 27 women and 10 children. If you don't know the history, please shut up. How can any human side with such insensitive person who trivilaize and mock the death of poor innocent common folks for some laughs and some money.
