1:49 Apparently, that makeup of boils and skin deformities took 4-5 hours to apply each time. This is what is great about the earlier movies: The make-up/appearance was done with real props like makeup/prosthetics. Now-a-days, most of the physical attributes are being given using CGI, which ruins the effect, especially at close up shots (looking at you, Adipurush). 6:20 That dialogue, "more than that" is a common staple of this movie, and a great one-liner. 12:41 That location is apparently in the North Hunan Province in China, and the geography of that province, especially the Wulingyuan mountains, inspired the geography of the movie "Avatar", especially for the Mountain sequences. Chiyaan Vikram actually pushed himself above and beyond for this movie. He bulked up for the bodybuilder role, toned himself down for the role of the model, and then literally starved himself for the role of the hunchback. His weight was so low, that his body immunity was going down along with his strength. His BMI read "starvation" throughout the role of the hunchback.

Andrew reaction is one to watch. This film is inspired by so much artist. Love the Arnold reference, the Chinese legend Jackie chain, Jet Lee and Bruce Lee admiration. Over all awesome experience so far. Waiting for 2nd part.

Hadn't vikram done this effort this movie would've flopped badly, but he single handedly carried this movie. The big bodybuilder name is kamaraj who was Mr India in bodybuilding, I've seen him here in Bengaluru India & he's a very humble & shy person contrary to way he looks.
