Went to North Bend Washington to run the Jack and Jill downhill marathon with the focused effort being to run a marathon distance faster than I ever had before. Spent a day sight seeing at Snoqualmie Falls and walked along the shore of Puget Sound. My wife loves the flowers.
To Christ be the glory! I received His unmerited favor running the Jack and Jill Marathon this day. Ran 7 minutes faster than I ever have at this distance. I qualified for Boston again. And, for good measure, He gave me a first place finish in my age group. I started this day praying that my Lord Jesus would receive my race effort as an act of worship. I gave it my best. I felt God's good pleasure on this day.
