I am so sad there was not a single mention of how Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend has seemingly his arm in a cast, as a reference to how Junk Warrior crushed the original red dragon archfiend at the end of 5D's in yusei's and jack's final duel

It's not just the arm either. Scarlight's armor is mismatched, like it had to reassemble it from scraps, it's got flaming scars over its body, and one of it's horns is broken off.

30:36 Scarlight RDA is like an older RDA after he fights Junk Warrior Like look at the arm that he used to clash with Junk Warrior, it looks bandaged or upgraded, and his effect is a hard counter to Junk Warrior, Junk Warrior needs a lot of small guys around him to boost his attack to really high levels and Scarlight just counters that

he even learned a lesson from junk warrior, he realized that he too needs a lot of little tuners around him to become even stronger, but instead of in attack stat its in his double and triple tuning synchro summon forms.

Not really a great counter since its not at quick effect speed, and junk warriors attack gain is a permanent on summon effect, but it can use the swarming against the opponent, if its around the next turn, with the burn damage.

I think out of the 5D synchro dragons, aside from the Black Wing Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend is my favorite by design. And Nova....thank you for all the amazing work you put into these videos. You are amazing man.

I like stardust and black Rose. Always liked plant based decks even as a noob, and though a dragon black rose sortable fit in. and then i developed a likeness for destruction negation, and stardust just looks beautiful while doing it.

Ah RDAs proper, gotta love 'em. I'm still a sucker for Stardust and Synchrons at heart, but hilariously I've grown to love this lineup thanks to of all things Rokkets. Mainly because I realized Rokket Synchron plus the common level 4 Rokkets makes Junk Speeder, and with a somewhat specific but simple Synchron lineup can immediately go into Red Nova or Red Supernova. And now, well, Rokket Dragon Archfiend is a deck I have almost finished irl so we'll see how it goes if/when I'm able to get somewhere with them in tow!

TECHNICALLY there are 2 monsters that can do so, being Crystron Quariongandrax (2+ Tuners and 1 Non-tuner) and XX-Saber Gottoms (1 Tuner + 1 or more EARTH monsters, doesnt specify that the EARTH need to be non-tuner)

Red Gardna has been on-off with most RDA builds, believe it or not - it can be a VERY good handtrap/material depending on the format.

Most people seem to think that archfiend monsters are called demon in Japanese when it's actually daemon which look like demons but not evil in fact they're good spirits hence why they're typically used by main characters but it was probably changed in English because it sounds similar to demon

Card idea. Red Hypernova Dragon 4 tuners + 1 non-tuner synchro monster Must first be synchro summoned 1) Gains 500 atk for each tuner in both GYs 2) Cannot be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's card effects 3) Once per turn, during either players' turn, when an opponent's monster is summoned, activates it's effect, or declares an attack, you can (quick effect) banish this card from your side of the field; destroy all cards on the field and your opponent takes 500 damage for each card destroyed. 4) Once per turn, during the second end phase after this card left the field by it's own effect, special summon this banished card 5) At the start of your main phase 1, if this card is in your GY, you can banish 4 tuners from your GY to special summon this card in face up attack position, but it cannot activate it's effects or attack this turn Atk - 4500 Def - 3500

Fun Fact, i always have Flare Resonator and Psychic Tracker in my deck, because with Flare Resonator can give the Synchro monster 300 ATK, and with Psychic Tracker if i have a lvl 3 monster, that's not Psychic Tracker, i can special summon it in Defence mode and when used for Synchro Summoning, Psychic Tracker can give the Synchro monster 600 more ATK. So in general all Lvl 6 Synchro monsters, that doesn't have a specific tuner or regular monster in need, will have a 900 ATK point bonus.

A yes my archetype of choice in master duel, it may brick at times but when your soul burns brightest you can make a board of dragons that make your opponents quiver

Here's some advice for playing RDA to it's full potential. Use Dictator of D or Mathmech Circular to get a free summon and fill you grave with material to banish for reviving Chaos Ruler. Play Noble Knights Shield-Bearer to search Hop Ear Squadron. This will let you turn Chaos Ruler into Baronne De Fleur on your oppenent's turn

Red Dragon was one of my first Synchro monsters, and next to Red-eyes is one of my favorite monsters and a constant member of my extra deck. Also, I prefer the original name for Jack's Synchro technique: "Super! Tuning!"

Damn, I remember I was playing vs this guy with a bit of a slow and janky synchro deck with my swordsoul deck... then he goes into supernova sets the banishing trap card and I was about to lose due to that card, untill I was actually able to summon Psychic end punisher to get over the supernova... Now that I think about it, It was a clash of the "retrains/evolutions" of 2 of the first synchro monsters... Kinda poetic maybe?

Gotta disagree with the take on creation resonator. 1. It is not a once per turn, not even a soft one. 2. It's effect to summon itself is an inherent summon. Example: Send Witch of the Black Forest to GY. Witch searches a fiend, but cant activate its effects that turn. Creation resonator is an inherent summon, not an effect, so summon it anyway, then synchro. Special Synkron resonator, then synchro again. Synkron resonator effect to add a resonator back to hand from gy, add creation. Special summon creation again. Taking both those points into account you should run at least 1-2.
