@@QuizMasterEntertainment if you mean the videoclip of him playing Piano in a Bowser Custom, that one is official and allowed by the company itself, he mentioned it himself. but I really don't know for sure anyway, it might be totally fine for him to do this. I only based my opinion on the fact that a much much less popular Voice Actor was asked by a friend of mine to just voice 6-7 line of a character she played for a small fan project, but she replied to him that they are not allowed to do it. but as it is usual with these companies and their agreement, the more popular you are and the more big the project is, the less restriction you have, so probably nobody will complain to Jack Black if he did something like this lol

@@LuckyPed10 As a game developer, let me give you my experience about it. The movie is working on the publicity with the song to make people buy the OST or watch the movie, not that it needed it, but at the end of the day, it's just an ad for the movie. When it comes to a fan project, then it's different, it calls attention to the fan project letting that team get the attention without really paying anything to the official content. That's the difference here, so a collaboration with Jack black and Little V is entirely possible.

Almost universally, music artists (and even record companies and film companies) let covers slide, which is what this is. The original song is so absurd to begin with that anything done off it can easily be called parody too, which this is so absurd it's basically a parody/homage, in which case it falls under Fair Use copyright law for parody. Either way, it would be a tough call for Nintendo or Dreamworks to try and take it down because it's free publicity and precedent has been set for almost 200 years for artists to pretty freely cover each others' work.

I definitely don't hate him, but I find it difficult at this point to trust celebrities. Every time I'm like this guy is such a good and humble person, they just have to go and disappoint me by being a pedo or something. I know it's not fair to judge all celebrities for that, but I just can't have my heart broken anymore when I don't even personally know them.

I looked for a certain comment but couldn't find it so I'll say it. Originally, The film's director Aaron Horvath had an idea of wanting to make a metal version of the song, but they needed a different approach for it, as this is bowsers love song, so they went with the piano version of it. And felt it was more suitable. So I'm really glad you made a metal version of it, as it would give us a glimpse of what it would sounded like if they went with a metal cover of it!
