Love watching you do your thing. Old school skills with a tight board and all it takes to be a Top40 DJ comparable to the greats of the 60s and 70s. You are a great communicator.

So, here's the progression: I read an ad for a radio personality and wondered what an air check sounded like. I land here on YT and click on Jack Girling's awesome display of radio personality, and the next thing I know, I'm tuning in live to Fun Tower Radio....only to be blown away by the soundtrack of my high school years. It's been an awesome day after all.

Loving it. You’ve got the gift. Making it look easy Jack. Hope you are going further into broadcasting. Pump some of those tunes into a 50,000 watt transmitter. For now we’re loving you with Ron and the gang

It would be so strange to me to be in those shoes today. I was a commercial broadcaster from 1974 through 1992. I can't even imagine stepping into those shoes today. I'd be a greenhorn, with 17 years' experience. We actually played records until the 1990s. Imagine that.

Crikey sport, great work there Jack by the way, the board I used at community radio here down under was about 3 times the size. Same amount of gear but your panel is condensed down to nothing. The studio was pre CD it has all the new stuff now, plus everything else is on screen as well. I was taught old school with two reel to reel units for access programs, turntables, not the belt version though, thankfully. lol. Oh and the cartridges for sponsorships. Good old days.

Hi Jack! Great Aircheck. I've got a question: Do you have soundproceccing on your headphone, and if so, what soundprocessing do you use, and if there is any latency (delay)?

Great video, Jack! Thank you for sharing. Quick question: Do you know where those artist shouts (The Beatles! or Elton John!) are from? They sound like JAM or TM to me and would love to confirm. Thanks!
