My friend is an excellent kite surfer and was recently photographed by a professional photographer walking on the beach who merely admired his talents and sent it to the local watersports centre. The picture was so good it ended up online. Don't assume surf pictures are always so contrived, and anyway why not get paid for something you love doing, you are good at and that people admire you for.
