Behind all the razzamatazz, it was the biggest criminal case of all time. Despite all the books and studies, we don't know much about who he really was. Perhaps it is because of this mystery that we still speak about Jack the Ripper. If the criminal had been found, tried and hanged, would he still be so fascinating?
