it blows my mind that the studio for this dub got their hands on George Newborn his profile's so large that I never imagined him in the middle of a dubbed anime needless to say I'm delighted by this, and I'd love to see more of him

yeah, Hercules is his Roman name yet they dont call Ares; Mars or Hermes; Mercury

As I noticed, some of the other dubs used his Greek name (Hungary for example and it written as "Héraklész" )

Naw. Hercules was fighting in the tournament with the intent to demand the gods to not kill humanity when all was said and done. Jack wasn’t the hero at all. He just had the deeper backstory, better weapons, and most appealing personality.

The series doesn't even have the guts to make him the real Jack the ripper of his verse, he's another nameless murderer who thought of using the name. I actually prefer the fate Jack, because nobody really knows who the real Jack is so the summon is just the legend manifest rather than the real person.

Actually, the fact that he,s able to block, redirect and deflect all those small knives with precision and accuracy using a bulky weapon like a club shows that Hercules is actually a very skilled fighter.
