Yeah, a lot of the stranger/extras in the scenes may not have known what was going on at the time, but the crew always came back and talked to the random people and cut them checks at the end. the Jackass crew was actually really respectful, just not towards each other lol

In 2005, there was an MTV Films produced documentary called "Murderball". It chronicled physically disabled men in wheelchair rugby. It's an amazing documentary, and since it was an MTV movie they used an episode of JACKASS to promote it. It was awesome how Knoxville and his crew treated these guys like equals. And didn't pity them for being in wheelchairs. And they all did some messed up stuff to each other. No one was off limits. But as someone with disabilities, I had mad respect for the JACKASS guys for that.

Wow...I remember watching that now that you mentioned it. That was pretty cool and they were indeed very respectful. The Jackass crew was always respectful tho really. They always paid for damages and talked to the people who were involuntarily involved after everything was done. Any random stranger in these movies _without_ a blurred out face got paid to be in the movie. It really was always in good fun, the only people they ever hurt was themselves, and that's ultimate respect for your fellow man there.

"I haven't seen this dude in years." After retiring from professional fighting, Butterbean moved back to Alabama and became a cop. He's a reserve Sheriff's Deputy, been one for the past 10+ years now. He also makes custom razor blades out of things like alligator jaws for shaving, as well as owns his own restaurant now. Butterbean has been doing pretty well.

I never watched Jackass on tv because I hated the gross stuff. But I do love the movies. Mostly because it was easy to fast forward through anything too vile. But I love the spirit of the "Fuck it let's try it" mentality.

You have no idea how happy you made your fans for reacting to this. Don't worry, you only have 4 more. Just imagine them having a much larger budget. Bad Grandpa is different and far less gross. Its story driven with pranks sprinkled throughout. Johnny in an old man get up bonding with his grandson on a road trip. No other cast members are in it.

Johnny Knoxville did a movie with Jackie Chan called Skiptrace. He is a likeable actor in the movies I've seen him in. I took my teen nephews to see Jackass. The first gross out they both turned to gauge my reaction. When they saw me laughing my azz off they were relieved and we all had a great time.

I remember me and my dumb friends had plans on ordering a camera and making videos doing dumb things after this came out when we were in like 5th or 6th grade. One thing that we were going to record was something we called "The Slingshot". We had a huge strong classmate push the merry-go-round as fast as he could. Then you grab onto it, and after it flings you off your feet, you let go and let it fling you off into the gravel that surrounded it. It was dumb, and we never got a camera, but we had fun playing the game anyway.
