@@rbvlogs3831 maybe that's how it's cooked in Thailand, it's not how it's cooked in the Philippines, if the jackfruit is raw, peel it before cooking, but when it's ripe, it's better to eat it fresh like any other fruit

In my country this is a fruit called Jackfruit. It has a pungent distinct smell. We only eat the sweet fleshy internal pulp the rest including the green skin is discarded because it is tough. It is extremely sticky due to the gluelike white liquid secreted upon cutting. It also has some huge seeds and seed coverings that we also discard prior to eating. With that said I find it very difficult to believe that this is a real meal. This lady chopped up everything including the tough discarded parts ewwwwww. Perhaps she’s just trying to be creative… who knows. I would not eat that!!!

Remove the hard outer cover of the seeds and eat the cooked seed. Soo delicious. In our country we hide dry seeds in dry sand to protect it for a long time. After 2,3 months clean seeds, soak in water for a night to mix in cooking side dishes . Yummy.
