they had to get rid of him cause he would of outshined everyone. it was also his idea to have Richie Aprile, who he said he'd be as a twin, except Chase took the idea and used David Proval instead.

It's seen as disgusting and low-class to the point that you're considered by many as undatable if you're a user. Nowadays smokers are mostly made up of older people and people on the lower end of the economic spectrum.
