A story that I love telling is when me and my family went fishing and the only rod that caught fish was a 2 dollar pink princess fishing rod. 😂 A total of 11 fish were caught.

i really enjoyed this. the nice checkout man, the biking timelapses, the random rock skipping, and even the attempt on schlatt's life with the fishing rod i also really appreciate the ending. it may be unsatisfying, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. the message - that things don't always work out in the end, but that no matter what you should make the most of it - even if it was unintended, is actually really refreshing to see, especially when it seems like everything is so perfect and smooth-running on this platform, and on the internet in general thank you for making this, and i hope you really enjoyed your trip. and to anyone reading this, i hope youre having a good day/night/time, and that even if the destination didn't go as planned, the travel still made it worth it :)

As far as I know, Bass are basically fish that eat anything that can fit in their mouth and most of the time very aggressive. If you're a little feeder fish, expect to be swallowed immediately. Carp is kinda like catfish, they mostly bottom feed which is why they are at the bottom of the lake... I think.

I haven't seen either of his "I took ____ to a lake" videos, but if I had to take a guess, Schlatt's the kind of guy to use the fishing pole correctly and swear everytime he doesn't catch a fish, and Tommy's the kind of guy to say "is anyone else going to give up with using the pole and just use their hands" and not wait for an answer

As a semi-avid bass fisher, LOL at the drop shot wacky rig set up. I'm sure it could work, but that practically defeats the purpose of rigging the worm wacky style. They had the right idea, but should have gotten the Yamamato Senko's with a weightless wacky rig in green pumpkin or junebug/black&blue.

sup jack i’ve been fishing bass for years and you gotta do a Carolina rig with watermelon colored worms and they usually hang out on the edge of the water under trees so if you try again i would do that and you’ll definitely get one

Carp fishing isn’t really that hard in comparison to bass fishing, the bass were probably stocked (or just stupid due to the conditions they were in) although I’ve only ever fly or fake lure fished seabass which is harder anyway(there is no smell in the lure and you have to fake the movement as it’s dead, I’m also not very good), so I don’t really know how easy lure fishing lake bass is.

i got fishing but im Aussie so all we got it Carp, red fin, trout, yellow belly and murry cod and from experience of only catching cod, cap and red fin i can confirm carp fight more
