In short, the guy speaking Portuguese was just in disbelief mainly because his normal donations are 10 bucks of their currency. The dollar is pretty expensive over here at Brazil so the value you donated would be about 2.000 bucks of their currency... you basically donated him half a motorcycle. Also you wrote it correctly.

Not only is Jack down to earth, but he's humble and generous. Truly setting a standard for others to follow.

Jack, your "eu gosto do seu microfone" was on point. All the brazilian guy said was "what was that", "what the fuck was that" and "no way" over and over again. If you look at his video you can see that you actually donated more than 2.600 reais, which is the equivalent of almost three months of work on minimal wage here in Brazil. Just so you have some idea of what you did, the government is paying some people that can't work (not all) 5 monthly payments of 600 reais for a total of 3.000 so people can get by during covid. For an american to receive 300 bucks in a single donation might be amazing, but for a brazilian to receive more than 2.500 reais is absolutely insane. That's why the guy was in complete disbelief. I would actually sugest that if you end up doing that again for brazilian streamers, to donate something in between 50 and 100 dollars. Because that would already translate to a good amount of money in our currency, and you could reach more people and make more peoples' days .

the lady playing the violin. for those of you who dont play a string instrument, she was playing some tough stuff with lots of shifting, and lots of vibrato. more talented than she looks for sure.

That was so awesome and wholesome - the first drummer guy and the violin girl; their reactions tell you that they have been doing their streams for some time with not as much success as maybe they would have wanted, but still pouring their hearts and minds into it. And the donations showed them that they matter, that their craft is seen and appreciated and that they too can be rewareded.

I keep coming back to this video and the other one he did whenever I’m feeling down… positivity is hard to come by in this world at the moment. Thanks Jack!

The guy who speaks Portuguese just kept saying that "This isn't possible!". And he kept saying "What is this?". Or the equivalent of "What's happening?" and "No way!". I'm pretty certain he's actually Brazilian. His accent isn't anywhere near to the stereotypical Portuguese accent. To add to my thesis, I've lived in Brazil for over a decade and my family is brazilian, plus Reais popped up as currency for the donation of which is the national currency so, I'm 99% sure on this call.

I wish you would do more of these Jack. I've not only come rewatch this on my low days but I've added new streamers that I now watch actively. Thank you Sean and much love brother.

Coming back to watch watch this made another day better. I love hearing on people play instruments really well especially the Violin. I used to have a friend who loved playing the violin. He had one his parents bought him and he played so many songs back in my elementary school music class. Everyone loved hearing him play and they'd be impressed because he's just a kid. Most of us couldn't even get that good at something like that by the time we were in like 4th grade. I really miss hearing him play the violin and I heard from his friend that he actually went to a music competition somewhere and won. He really got me into music as a kid. I would be spend hours playing my plastic recorder to get better at it out in my backyard. I never got really good at playing the Recorder but I was pretty good at playing it compared to my classmates. I would love to meet him again and see where he went with the violin playing. He once told me he'd want to play in some kind of orchestra or group at least once to see what it's like.

So uh, im one of the mods who was in the chat of FrankieWuzHere when you donated, and i just wanna say thanks! He really works his best to be inclusive, kind, and compassionate towards the people who watch him, and it means a lot to me that he got all that love sent his way!! Thanks jack!
