A shout out to Rosemary Butler. If you look at it again, when they reach the point where she and Doug Hayward have finished their roles as Backups, she gives an upward motion of her left arm as if she is pulling the cord as the Stage Light blacks out over them. What a talented performer.

They really looked they were having fun but if you look closely you will also see the focus on their faces too as they were playing. These guys meant business and that showed in the performance. Simply incredible.

Her vocals are spot on for this song. Very cherry

This is as good as it gets folks. Epic performance by a well oiled machine of a band.

Isn’t this just the case of young Jackson when he discovered that he could do Rock if he just wanted to. Absolute Perfection.

This is why you hear this live version of this song way more than the recorded one. This once-every-hundred performances that was so tight and spot-on and the crowd was so into it. Perfection.

The version on the Running On Empty album was live as well.

This song gets more poignant with every year that passes. going on 44 years ago since this song came out. What an amazing ride it's been, this mysterious journey called LIFE!

lazy. considering theres so much good music and bad music in every decade
@stargazer67535 жыл бұрын
@@MMZS528 Yeah there is in each decade, you are right, but with the last 2-3 decades what percentage is the "good" music? Good to know.
@stargazer67535 жыл бұрын
Thank you, whoever you are for a "like". The days of anything new and creative in pop/rock, folk/ rock, or country/rock and that is now all included somewhat in the term " Americana" is far behind us. Although, I have nothing at all against the term "Americana". It has siphoned out the good from the bad to some extent. There are no hard lines. What you have just seen here is astounding. 1979 "No Nukes".
