I have this guitar and love it, but i have one problem with it. The bridge pickup has very high noise level. I don't think it's normal. The neck pickup is silent. The signal is good from the bridge pickup, it sounds like an active humbucker, but it hums like a single coil. Do you experience something like that? You talk about the noise too, but for me it's only the bridge really

As much as I love Dime he’s definitely got the recognition he deserves. Jeff Loomis, however, needs to be recognized as one of the greatest. Loomis has been in my top 3-5 influences since The Politics of Ecstasy. RIP Warrel Dane

Totally agree with you. Enemies of reality have a lot of amazing riffs too… Nevermore will always be underrated😩

Right? I remember hearing the solos on "born" and "final product" for the first time... changed my musical life much in the same way hearing "cemetery gates" did.

@@vidmohit4684 I was early in my guitar playing when I saw Jeff do a lesson for the sweep part at the beginning of The Psalm of Lydia. It literally blew my mind - I didn't even know you could do that on guitar at the time because metal was still relatively new to me at that point.

Spent most my childhood dreaming of owning a black kelly. Discover Loomis in late teens and buy a Schecter last year to finally have a Loomis model. A week later in a twist of fate he makes a Kelly. My poor wallet lol.

Everytime i hear a Nevermore riff, i instantly reassure myself that it is my favorite band forever. Also, a full cover of 42147 would be awesome Ola! Not many good covers of Nevermore on KZfaq.

The Loomis Kelly and Davidson Warrior are probably my two most coveted guitars. Really like the Ellis Kelly too. Not only do I highly respect the artists but their guitars are sick as well. Love Jackson guitars man, nothing more metal imo.

@@krogwaugh My friend also has the Davidson Warrior and it's so dope. He's got the distressed ash finish, the one that looks like a piece of driftwood? He plays about as well as Dave as well. Makes me feel sad and lesser, but I still love him. xD

Great demo! I'm more of a classic guitar shape guy, but this one is an exception. Love how that white binding pops on the black top. I was incredibly lucky to build a custom amp for Jeff that he'll have soon, can't wait to hear him play through it!

Just ordered this guitar brand new for less then 1k! Super excited to see it in person, something about Jacksons necks have always felt better to me then any other brand i have tried or owned. I got my eye on a Halloween orange solar next :)...thanks for making kick ass videos Ola!

I never made it big in music. I've done alright. But back in Oct. 1997, my old band Hollow Point got to open for Nevermore, with Flotsam and Jetsam headlining at Bogies in Albany NY. Awesome. I'm still humbled by it. I might buy his Jackson Kelly as a thanks for letting us play out with ya. That helped us a lot locally where I'm from and I never got to thank him personally.

Booyah! Jeff Loomis and Chris Broderick formerly of Nevermore are both endorsed by Jackson now! They could do a cover album of their favorite songs of any genre and we would all buy it! Imagine Jeff Loomis and Chris Broderick doing a harmonized solo of 'Tornado of Souls' by Marty Friedman of Megadeth! THAT WOULD BE SO SICK!

Jeff is a complete beast. My favourite player. I’m a mid 70s kid from Van Halen Yngwie Satriani Vai and so. Jeff is such a cool dude to.
